About Me

Short tidbits about me:

Growing up, everyone thought my middle name was 'Rose.'
Some people even thought I was Sarah-Rose
Turns out, it was my last name.

(I am now Sarah Harrington)

I got married in early 2015 to Dennis. I had never met a Dennis before.
My father in law is also a Dennis. I still think it's strange sometimes.

I have a dog, a cat, and a baby.
My husband let me get a cat as 'birth control' against my baby fever.
I was already pregnant.

I specialize in engagement & wedding photography.
The only thing I cared about studying in college was studio fashion photography.
Go figure, right?

I am completely obsessed with weddings.
I love the dresses, the venues, the rings, the flowers, the shoes.
I just know I'll love yours, too!

To see what I'm all about, check out my portfolio. If you like what you see, tell me.

Here's the long story.

I always knew I wanted to be some sort of artist. When I was little, I wanted to be an actress. As a preteen, I played violin. Shortly after, I began studying movies and cinema. When I moved away from South Carolina to Florida at the age of 15, I had no idea what direction my life was going in. My very first classroom I walked into was photography 1. I had a new photography class each of the 5 semesters I had left in High school. I guess you can say, I found my calling.

My high school photography teacher helped me get accepted into the Southeast Center of Photographic Studies at Daytona State College. I spent my college career perfecting my studio fashion portfolio. During my final semester, I was challenged by a professor to take my fashion shoots outdoors. It was then that I fell in love with the glamorous golden hour portraits. I found local photographers that I adored and began emulating their work. One photographer in particular drew me to weddings. I started to photograph weddings and found a passion I never knew I had. This is it, the art form I've been searching for my entire life!

I also met my future husband in my final semester of college. Our love story is a bit like a whirlwind of events. We moved in together about 3 months after we began dating. A year later, we were engaged to wed. After a 15 month engagement, we had the wedding of our dreams. Only 3 months later, we bought our first house together. Now we've been blessed with an adorable toddler and I've never been happier! I've been so lucky in the past, I'm very excited to see what the future brings for my family and I.

I can't wait to meet you and hear about your love story.
